Week #4 NFL
Im not sure under was the right choice. If Miami doesnt have two turnovers to stop drives early, they score 17-21 early and NE plays a very different offense... I think over was right but it got there for the wrong reasons.
Well then we will agree to disagree. It was 7-6 at halftime. When you are over 5 TD's to the good in the NFL at the half, you are going to get there 70-80% of the time. Under was the right play. 3 defensive/special teams TDs and a punt block sets them up in the red zone. It's a fruitless debate though b/c it lost either way. Moving on. I'll get a lucky break in a game that I don't deserve at some point this weekend. It will even out.
Miami should never have been passing on those early drives that Ninkovitch intercepted. They had Pats on their heels running the ball but they tried to get too greedy-cute. Before the second interception ( with 3 minutes left) they definitely had no business passing but should of been thinking how to kill some clock before they scored so brady doent get the ball back with much time on the clock. Instead of being up 17 or 21-3 they go in 7-6 ( as Sean pointed out). This is poor play calling then compounded by inexcusable kick-game blocking.
OK I guess everyone just wants to disagree with me tonight. That's fine. There's no guarantee Miami would have scored running the ball or been even close to being up 21-3 in the first half. I feel I'm right and nothing anyone can say will change my mind.
I had the Seattle / San Diego under last week. Low half time score then they run the 3Q kickoff back. Next a bomb by the Chargers and 2 TD's scored in the first 2 1/2 minutes. Still going under until the Seabags run back another kickoff with 6:30 to go in the game. I did catch breaks in the first half to have a low half-time score but should have gotten home from there; much like this game last night. I had the under as well. Does that mean I've got 2 lucky winners coming?

Yes ,however you may get another 5 or 6 unlucky losers first
Shooter... Please keep your picks coming. They are appreciated and looked forward to despite what Fezzik would call the 'random noise' popping up in this thread.
Great stuff shooter..
