399) Chargers/Jags OVER 45
This number is still available throughout Las Vegas and at few
spots offshore including CRIS. Pinnacle is at 45.5. Opened 44.5.
Chargers travel cross-country for an early start following a MNF
game so a situational bad spot according to many. The big plus
in this game appears to be the addition of Blackmon to the offense
and the switch to Henne. The Jags look like they can actually move
the ball decently now and if Cecil Shorts is a full go you have two
quality wideouts to go along with MJD.
The Chargers faced a pretty good D last week in the Colts. This is
a step down in class as far as the opposition goes and Rivers should
go to work on them. There are injuries for both sides. The most
concern should be the WRs of Jax as both Blackmon and Shorts are
dealing with issues. Check status of both before betting. Blackmon
will probably not practice on Wed and Shorts is not looking too good
either. For me, I need Blackmon in there to make this bet so I wait.
418) Browns/Packers UNDER 46
Game opened 45.5 and now a few 46.5s are out there. It's the injuries
on the Packers side that probably fueled this choice. Cobb down and
the Pack will probably shift TE Finley around to compensate. Browns
DB Haden is capable of taking out one weapon so that leaves Rogers
with some middling choices to throw to. Expect a little more work for Lacy.
The Browns must be looked at in two ways - with and without Weeden.
Weeden is basically a lame duck QB - he is only in there because
of the Hoyer injury. He may not have seen another snap in a Browns
uniform if not for that. Management does not want him but they are forced
to play him due to circumstance. He holds the ball too long and then forces
throws. I don't think the Browns win too many more games this year
with Weeden behind center. The Weeden-Browns are an UN team when
compared to the Hoyer-Browns. Pinnacle has the best UN available which
is a slight concern at this stage of the week. They have UN 46.5 -105.
Best in LV is UN 46 at numerous shops.
