Week 9 CFB Syracuse +21.5:
Pitt closes with Notre Dame, West Virginia, and Cincinnati after this one. After last week's thrashing of S.Florida, do you think they'll have much interest in this one? Yeah, me either. I like the fact that Syracuse lost Williams. Should light a spark in them to play with some enthusiasm. There won't be much despondence--remember, HE quit the team. They'll be playing pissed. Syracuse also has a run defense that's more than capable of containing the explosive Pitt run game.
Ohio St. +6 -120
Not much to say here beyond the fact that I think Penn St. is just not as good as advertised. Don't read anything into their win at Michigan. That wasn't as impressive as people may have you believe. God knows Tressel and Prior have gotten enough flack the last couple of weeks; this will no doubt be a great opportunity for them to silence all the doubters. I think you're getting the more talented team in this spot that has A LOT more to prove.
