What to do with my bet

What to do with my bet A few weeks back I bet $100 on the Jets to make the superbowl. A win pays out 3600. Now I really would like to win some money out of this bet. So I was curious if you guys thought hedging the bet would be a good idea. Problem is the money line on Indianapolis is so high I'm not sure it's worth it. Just curious on peoples opinions on what I should do with this bet. Just let it ride and pray the Jets win?

Someone on SFW posted the exact same question and here was my response: If the to win amount is life altering money, then you hedge. If not, let it ride. I had this situation a few years back with the Rays. I had the Rays to win 6 figures if they won the World Series. It was life altering money. If they lost (and I didn't hedge) I probably would have been kicking myself forever. I hedged on Game 7 of the ALCS and then again on the World Series (getting +145 on the Phillies helped, it was a great bet). Think about your reaction in the scenario that they win and if they lose and then make your decision. Last year I had peanuts of a Baltimore to win the AFC ticket at 70-1 and let it ride. Each circumstance is different.
