Why do running Qbs defer sure running TDs for passes?

Why do running Qbs defer sure running TDs for passes? Drives me crazy!!!

Because they have been coached to stay in the pocket. All the good QB's do. If you are not a pocket passer in the NFL you cannot play QB. Period. Now we definitely see what you are saying and agree take the 6 pts...but think the that is reason as I have thought that very same things many many times.

Just angle towards pylon and he scores untouched. Typical Vick.
