Why is there no record keeping on this site?

Why is there no record keeping on this site? I'm surprised that people are allowed to post picks but not keep track of their record. What is the site's policy on this? If record keeping is not required - why?
My thoughts on record keeping It takes literally 1000s of trials to get a credible sample of who is good, and who not so good. IMO, look for folks who post stuff that easily beats the eventual closing numbers.....THESE are the guys who win. I'm not saying you cannot win when the market doesn't agree with you on select games, but I have not met one winner my entire life whose bets don't look very good vs. closing lines. As an example: SD -6.5 vs. Raiders good bet! SD -7-110 vs. Raiders........ok bet SD -8-110 vs. Raiders........HEE HAW .......Regardless of the SD 34 Oak 10 final
SD -8-110 vs. Raiders........HEE HAW
You forgot to add they'll be cutting in line! :)
I doubt there's anything that leads to more arguments than grading picks. There's always someone who's upset, and that can mean getting upset big time. I couldn't believe the screaming about what was and wasn't widely available on other boards. Not worth it.

Record keeping creates a bad vibe on the forum
I post my record every week. Up 91 units the last two football seasons, all plays for one net unit. After today I'm 8-6, +1.88 units this year with Denver -2 1/2 -110 left this week with Cincinnati -3 -114 and Dallas -3 -115 in week one of the regular season. It's extremely hard to win if you don't get close to the apex. Even if you do, it's hard. However, that is vs solid lines like Pinny's. Vs Rogue lines, it's hard to lose! Yes, I would like to see records vs Pinny's line for all posters, but I suspect there would be very few winners. Look at TSM record for sports services. None come close to my two year record of +91 units, and TSM inflates services record by about 1%. HOWEVER, Fezzik almost always catches the apex of lines. If you like his side, play it immediately after he posts. If you like the other side, wait for the steam to peak. That info is solid, and, if used correctly, will go a lomg way to make you a winner.
I also have Stanford -17 +100, week one.
If you want to win, get some stale/rogue books. POUND them when they are off of Pinny's line, especially at crucial numbers. Look at what Fezzik does in the contests, which use some stale lines. Be ready to bet early in the week, and you will get -2 1/2 when -3 1/2 will appear late. Two years ago, I won 22 units by betting early numbers when I would have lost by betting closing lines. Timing the market is actually probably more important than handicapping. But be realistic. The best you can do is about 54, 55%.
old school, do i take it that you consider pinnacle the (current) largest maker ? in the sense that their current figure is more "accurate" than cris/bookmaker and the greek? i consider them equals, and i'd be interested to know if i'm reading you right. if you put pinnacle at the......pinnacle, who are 2nd and 3rd and how close are they?
take the line at its apex and win. Also folllow Fezz. which he mostly catches the line at the apex to win!!!!
