Will you change your mind in the next 14 days on the Super Bowl? 14 long days until the BIG game and we see the same thing happen every year. Monday moring, day 1(today) we look at the line and we like some side or some total. Then we have some discussions with our "square sharp" buddies (laughable term, and laughable that everybody has to be labeled into a category...I always thought all that mattered was if you won $$ or not). Then after 2 weeks of all this BS we see folks change their minds and talk themselves into taking the opposite side that they originally liked. So the REAL question is who do you like now? The Square sharps @ Dudepsorts Inc. like Pitt + points for about 0.127% of bankroll. We will most likely have 10x this much on the Texas Southern vs Miss Valley State in CBB game tonight. Best of Luck in the last game of the year.
Right now I think the Pouncey injury is something you want more info on. First team practice for the backup certainly will improve things a lot vs we what we saw in the game. Whoever is at C has to deal with a lot of Raji so that is not a position where you want issues either with a backup or a gimpy starter.

Agree. I was just thinking that the super bowl is probably the worst game to bet on. Cant imagine how anybody will have a legit edge on this game. Props are a different story.

For what it's worth, Pouncey claims he will be ready to play. Londo https://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81de2959/article/pouncey-plans-to-play-in-super-bowl-despite-ankle-sprain?module=HP_headlines2col
Not a doctor but high ankle sprains are the toughest to come back from. Luckily he has two weeks so maybe but these aren't easy to come back from quickly.

For 99% of sportsbettors, the real question is how much do you cost yourself in opportunity cost by discussing and thinking about the actual super bowl line for 2 weeks. -3 is right. "No, 2.8 is correct!". "Will we see 3's again"? Let's look at SOS.. yada yada yada.
Should be a helluva game. I think the Packers are the way to go especially considering the offensive line injuries to Pitt. Not sure Polamalu is going to be 100% either. He hasn't been himself the last few weeks. I was going to say that GB has the coaching edge but I must admit they made the same mistake the Steelers did by not burying their opponents when they had them down. No 2H points for Pittsburgh as they tightened up and held on. I've seen this before from Tomlin. That's how they lost that game to Baltimore. Too conservative to get a late game first down in that game. I'll give him credit for passing on 3rd down this time and icing the game, but still way too conservative a 2H. GB tightened up too but Pittsburgh always does this. To me that gives GB the edge in this intangible. Seems to me GB is firing on all cylinders and peeking at the right time (2 cliches for me!). I think the fast track in Dallas will only help them. Rodgers is playing lights out and they have great balance right now. Give me the Packers!
Pouncey out IMO You don't recover from a high ankle sprain in 2 weeks, esp. when you are a 300 lb. offensive lineman. Even if he does force himself to play, there's no way he'll be 100%. Cosnider him out.
I did not change my mind, still like Pitt plus the points, despite going against a golfer. 0.127% play Best of Luck
