Alan Boston is one of the most entertaining radio guests out there. Strong, well-thought opinions are what make the sports radio and podcast world interesting. So he has lost a little off his fastball, it still makes for great radio.
I thought that the late question by Ken Weitzner in yesterday's Winning Wednesday's show was out of line. Don't really care about his personal life or affairs, just his basketball opinions. Just like the personal life of Tiger Woods, who cares? Just enjoy watching him play golf.
I have a feeling John Kelly, a good professional interviewer, was taken aback as well. They just lost the best guest they have had.
By the way, Fezzik falls into a similar camp, strong, well-voiced opinions. He has his detractors as well, but is also a great interview, and makes any show he is on a must listen.
