You're fired!!!

You're fired!!! If that Washington coach didn't lose his job on that one...
Worst offensive play I've seen all season, and I'm still struggling to think of a worse one I've seen in the past 13 years.
So bad its funny
I guess no one has seen any lions games this year when Daunte Culpepper has started...namely ravens last week and 1h of cards this week.

Didn't you guys watch Hou/Jax 3 weeks ago? Texans donked off their season by dialing up halfback option pass on 1st and goal late 4q, which was Chris Brown's first ever pass. Picked.
has my vote...
Didn't you guys watch Hou/Jax 3 weeks ago? Texans donked off their season by dialing up halfback option pass on 1st and goal late 4q, which was Chris Brown's first ever pass. Picked.
let us not forget this in our haste to keep Kubiak.
Colin Cowherd spent at least a half hour this morning on ESPN radio talking about the Zorn fake FG. He referred to it as: "The worst play you will ever see, really." Cowherd also played a clip from ESPN DC 980. The local commentators response was: "What...was...that...?" I fully agree that the Kubiak HB option was bad, but the Zorn fake FG is garnering national ridicule on a much higher level. Maybe though that's just because the FG play happened on MNF in a game between 2 public teams. In any event, now that I have recalled the Kubiak HB Option, I agree that that play was at least as bad as the Zorn fake FG.
Perhaps after NY used a timeout the first time Washington was going to run it, one might decipher that NY would not be caught by surprise if Wash tried to run it again after the timeout. Zorn is something else. He even does the " Deer in the headlights" look better than Wannstedt which I thought was impossible.

Still don't like the call but there is an "out" if the play fails. For Washington, that was the worse play calling I have ever seen. It isn't like there were 30 seconds left so they just needed to get the first down. They needed to score a touchdown from a decent distance away, against a defense who just called a timeout to defense this if it happened again. They would have been better off running a play with the normal offense and throwing it up for grabs, which is ultimately what they did to a bunch of lineman and without your quarterback throwing it.
According to Easterbrook on espn.com, Washington did the same thing against Denver earlier this year (lined up, timeout was called - they still ran the same fake out of the timeout) AND IT WORKED. Super reverse psychology or something. This time around everyone had seen the tape, plus the guy was super pressured (since they had seen it already) and didn't execute.
