Dare I ask how the Upgrade is going?

Wow, I really like the newsletter.

Say, bobbyb, as a long term customer myself, I won't miss your crying and complaining. You will be the loser if you deny yourself what the Advisor provides. I, for one are content with the Advisor and I believe what Anthony has to say about the upgrade. Have a nice day.

One thing the doctor won't tolerate on here is a grump.
Don't understand. He asks. I answer. If it's not what he wants, he labels it rude, then asks again. What am I supposed to say? The delays are costing me a lot more than they're costing him. Thanks to the rest of you who "intervene."
I think this change over is driving most of us nuts, but I believe most people try to understand it's a process.Let's face it,you could hang some of these people with a new rope and they still would't be happy. You have two choices,be patient or get the fuck out.

You know its not like the information or anything else has decreased, this is still the source to go for info. The occasional slow times doesn't bother me a bit.
As a Canadian visitor, our dollar is lower than the U.S. right now, so the LVA is great value - more free slot play than ever and lots of 2-for-1's for dining.

Saves me a lot, and I really enjoy the newsletter, and forums, for that matter!
As one of the first one hundred subscribers to LVA in the 80's, I can still say there is no better place to get unbiased information on dozens of different topics pertaining to Las Vegas than this newsletter.
Really? From the '80s? That's very cool.
I can go back to the issue of Nov. '88 (don't know when you started). 12 issues for $20. believe I saw a reference in the LA Times travel section, and elected to subscribe.
LVA is still a great bargain' yes, this site can be frustrating but willing to cut you a LOT of slack. LVA made the mrs. and myself better vegas consumers and gamblers. all we have to do is use the $50 in dining for $25 at the sonoma cellar steakhouse (sunset station) and all is forgiven. LOL.

No. 1 on the top ten values for Nov. 1988
"Feast Action Buffet" at Palace Station; breakfast $3.95; lunch $4.95 and dinner $6.95. Tagline on the notation; "as good as this buffet is, we've made it better with the enclosed $1 off coupon."

Yes.

I don't know if you remember, but I came to the office last year to buy one of Bob Dancer's books. I asked if you were in and you were kind enough to come down and talk to me. I asked about the massive prime rib survey you did in the 90's where you literally ate at every prime rib place in town. That was a fantastic report. Prime rib is one of the things I eat every trip.
