e-mail scam using LVA and AC's name?

FYI, I got an e-mail to approve sending me offers that I requested.

I don't remember requesting anything in the last month or so.
And the e-mail has LVA's name and AC's name and LVA's address.
But the web address is aweber.com (??)
And the e-mail address is [email protected]

Supposedly sent on behalf of Anthony Curtis.

This smells totally like a phish. I won't go to the site.
If this is legit, LVA needs to use normal channels to communicate with me.
Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for the opportunity to speak about this.

As you know we now have LVAGold level membership. You must be a member to see the specials on the site, and to opt in to receive the weekly email containing the most up-to-the-minute deals and codes.

That email comes from the mailing house that manages our optin/optout tracking. They dont see or use your email address, they just make sure that if you opt out that you dont get those emails any more.

We saved the early signers and submitted them to aweber in batch mode so a bunch of people got their optin emails distant from the optin action.

Sorry if it spooked you, and you are well to be wary, but you can click through on those to verify that you want to get the email.
The batch submission is what threw me.
I seldom click on things in e-mails. If I get a letter, I'll go to the site directly and never use the link in an e-mail. Way too many scams.
