In case no one at LVA is aware

Not intending to pile on here, but:

When I click on a Topic title, the black background, message icon and link, as well as the other headings on the right side of the screen load immediately. The colorful LasVegasAdvisor banner at the top also loads immediately. But it takes 1-3 minutes for the text of the posts load. Doesn't seem to matter whether there is just one post or many replies in the thread. Been going on for many months now.

Thanks for anything you can do to improve this.

A previous problem with loging in seems to have repaired itself. Thanks.

Are you guys still working on the site?Some of the threads still take a long time to open up.

Have you noticed on the home page, under forums, that Downtown hotels is not listed. Maybe that is why there have not been any posts in over a week.

About the "Downtown" forum missing from the left margin, it's been that way since the Downtown forum was created.

Unfortunately, my question has not rated a response from LVA staff after a month.

So, sazsac, you may want to start a new topic regarding your concern about the Downtown forum.

Not unrated, just overlooked. We've checked this, but don't see what you're describing. Regarding working on the site, we're doing maintenance only on the current site in anticipation of a switch, so that wouldn't be the cause of these problems. Is it still happening?

Still happening, every day, with almost every attempt to open a thread/posting.

Strange because all the stuff at the top (banner, buttons, etc.) load immediately.

Previous to this phenom, clicking on the post resulted in NOTHING happening for several minutes, no movement at all, then things would load.

Suddenly, for me at least, everything got so much better, almost reasonably quickly.

Then this started, at least 6-8 months.

And, BTW, every other part of LVA loads instantly. Just not the forums.

Very slow also when I reply to a post...have to wait a long time before it loads.
