Late LVA

From Chilcoot---Those of us blessed by a working memory will recall President Obama accepting full responsibility for the initial failures in rolling out Obamacare.
October 31, 2013:"There's no excuse for it,” he said during a Boston speech to promote his signature domestic policy achievement. “And I take full responsibility for making sure it gets fixed ASAP.”------------------------------------- Today is January 21, 2014. I was unaware that the website for Obamacare was "fixed". I am curious as to just what ASAP means in Obama's world?

I too like reading the hard copy, but I see no reason to wait 5-10 and sometimes more days into the month before receiving it. So guess what I do, I print it out at home. Now I have a hard copy that I can read wherever and whenever I want. And I'm pretty sure I don't spend $13 on printer ink over the course of a year. But go ahead and keep putting more money in AC's pocket and he'll continue to send it out late.

Utter foolishness.

You can contest the "he'll continue to send it out late" comment. Perhaps I should have worded it "you'll continue to receive it late", but everything else is pretty factual. Can you dispute that people get the on-line version sooner than the printed newsletter? Can you dispute that it isn't going to cost as much as $13 per year in printer ink? As a very long time subscriber, I found myself having to print out the on-line version almost every time I had a trip to Vegas; so I finally wised up and stopped paying for the mailed copy. Doesn't seem like foolishness to me. Seems pretty logical.

LVA is a monthly newsletter.
It costs $37 a year.
It is published once a month.
It arrives once a month, every month, without fail.
The online version is almost always available a few days before the first of the month.
The online version is always available several days before the paper version will arrive.
The paper version, for those who want it, costs an extra $13 a year.
No one is forced to buy the paper version.
There are no facts in dispute.
This is how it's been for many, many years.

WTF are you whining about?

Chilcoot,
Not sure if the whining comment is directed at me. I'm merely pointing out a solution to the late arrivals of the printed newsletter. Also not sure why this concerns you.
I was referencing the "put more money in AC's pocket ..." comment. Yes, I would very much strive to provide lesser service the more successful we get. Good lord!
Well since OBAMA has made it into the topic the only thing I really remember OBAMA saying was:
IF YOU LIKE YOUR INSURANCE YOU CAN KEEP IT
IF YOU LIKE YOUR DOCOTR YOU CAN KEEP HIM
LAST BUT NOT LEAST YES THE SYSTEM HAD A FEW PROBLEMS..

Where the list of people who get thrown under the bus next.......

I'm not a huge OBAMA fan so take this lightly.....OH!!!!!YOU PROBALBY FIGURED THAT OUT.....
The good thing a lot of the younger people has taken a stand and are not signing up..
