Why was the MRB mailed using the cheapest rate by the USPS which is presorted standard mail? I remember a few years back, it took about three weeks to reach Hawaii by standard mail. This year, I was just fortunate that it probably was mixed up with the first class mail and it arrived today.
First class mailing would have been 78 cents for the less than 3 ounces MRB letter piece. We paid three dollars to have it mailed. First class mail takes about 3-4 days from Las Vegas to Hawaii.
