Need help

I'm new using the forum and I can't figure out what the envelope icon means. I referred to the help and I wasn't able to find the letter icon. This icon appeared next to two of my posts and I'm not sure what to do.

An envelope means there are no new posts since the last time you were on the site. If there are new posts it will say NEW instead of an emvelope.
