New computer

For over a year I kept thing I needed a new computer. Well I have new computer Windows 8.1 and this site still drags....This I the only site I have problems loading and the time to load topics is crazy....Anthony please have someone at least take a look at an upgrade...it takes forever to load topics and a lot of us are losing interest in even trying to post messages....the site has been in turtle movement for the past 3 years...is there an upgrade in the works or a new design for the site in the future.......

Perhaps in February...

OR NOVEMEBER....Sounds good but as the saying is you $$$hit in one hand and wish in the other and guess which one fills up first...What upsets me I probably never even needed a new computer it was just a slow site to load....2 or 3 minutes at max......

Wait. You bought a new computer because the LVA message board was slow to load?

FRIEDMUSH-----Not another chilcoot taking all things to heart and gospel...IT WAS A JOKE COMPARISION I did not purchase a new computer because the site loaded slowly it was because the entire site is way past due a upgrade.....However the example I as making was almost an insult to why the upgrade was not up and running as promised over and over----the upgrade has been in the works for 4 years is it not about time to see results---that would improve the site overall performance...and save topics like this from ever being posted...

I've read a lot of posts about the LVA site being slow. Just my experience but we've never had a problem with it. Could the ISP have something to do with it?

We moved and I changed service provider and te problem remained the same...this I the only problem site I have loading. We had Stratuswave and now Comcast as ISP....I really never had problems with the site just the speed.....
