Redemption issues at New York City Bar

Stopped in on 2/26/14 around 4:00 pm. It was just us the bartender and the cook / manager. Tried to redeem coupons and manager said they were from last year and they weren't honoring them. We showed that we had just printed them out and he said regardless they were not honoring them. After we ordered a beer and an appetizer and a little chit chat later, he said that the would make a one time exception for us. Anyway, sounds like this may be an issue that needs to be addressed. Thanks.

Ideally they'd let us know directly that they were discontinuing the deal, but few do and we usually find out only when someone's been inconvenienced. Sorry that you were the one, but thanks for letting us know.
