Some MRB Questions

I know in the past you folks have had problems with Michael Gaughan and the South Point. I'm wondering what transpired this year that caused the elimination of the Primarily Prime Rib and SP Buffet coupons.

Also, as I went to throw out last year's MRB, I noticed that it cost about 80 cents postage for the mailing. Adding the cost of an envelope and stuffing time, it would seem like your cost can't exceed $1. Why are you charging $3.50 to mail the MRB? It doesn't seem like mailing your coupon book should be its own profit center.
I was actually hoping for a more thoughtful response.
Well, it's been three days now. Seriously, is no one at LVA going to respond here?

You know better Bob.
South Point doesn't want our business. It's as simple as that and I think I covered it in the January LVA. When they declined to participate in 2012 we went back several times with suggestions and questioned why they would pull out and they told me there was no value in it for them. The same is true of Silverton, M Resort, and Boyd downtown.

To complain about the charge for the MRB makes no sense, since it's a convenience charge that you can decide on paying or not. If it's not worth $3.50 to have it sent to you, then don't have it sent. Come by the office and pick it up. The same logic would apply if the charge was $25. It would be worth it to some and not to others. You have a choice.
Well of course it's a convenience charge. I'm not an idiot and I recognize that. I just don't think you should be utilizing that as a means to increase your bottom line. It's a service business and while you shouldn't lose any money mailing the MRB, I think it's wrong to profit from it.
Then you should just pick it up in person.
Correct. Thank you.
If you don't like the quoted price then don't buy. Simple.
