System Update Please

Where are you in the process of revamping and improving this web site? Last we heard it was going to happen in November (guess not) or December.
Hello? Dare I drop the F-bomb about the web site? That, of course, would be February. So what's happening with the upgrade?
We are in the middle of the process. It was scheduled for a September beta release, but the code conversion was much more complicated than anticipated, given the size of our site. Now we are entering our busiest months, so it's not a good time to put up something new. It will definitely be 2013 now, as early as we can intelligently and efficiently do it.
Well the proof will be in the proverbial pudding. We had to deal with disastrous experiment a while back. Hard to believe in 2012 going on 2013 a website will still run at times speeds that compete with my old dial-up. The technology available is way better than this. And it is the part where it is endlessly moved to to a new target date somewhere in the future. So I guess as mentioned February would be a plus. So after having been here even before the 2002 shown by our posts it would be nice to back up the promises................. Maybe some tech savvy folks are needed.

Honestly, you have no idea what's entailed. I'll leave it at that.
"Honestly, you have no idea what's entailed. I'll leave it at that."

Honestly (and obviously), more importantly, neither do the people planning and executing the upgrade, (nor did they with the prior upgrade attempts or the restore for the that matter), hence the delays. THEY are the ones who should know what was entailed, not your customers! Had they done the analysis to estimate the effort properly, we wouldn't be talking about the 3rd? (I've lost track) delay for the completion of the current project, now into 2013, nor the abandonment of the previous upgrade attempt. Right?

Do you have a certified project manager running this?
This is a business. None of us know what is being made by this company, nor is it really any of our business. Perhaps it is not economically feasible to spend thousands and thousands of dollars right now to make this happen. Personally, I'm happy with the services rendered. I know we've all been spoiled ever since the cable modem came around, but I, for one, am willing to wait awhile until this can all be hashed out. I'm just speaking for myself, of course, but just wanting Anthony and the rest to know that they're doin' a great job, and some of us appreciate the effort and understand the situation.
Haven't been here for awhile as there are so few posts probably for the same reason I don't check-in...the speed of the site. I guess I'll check back in another month but, there are other options out there for sites that do have an idea of "what is entailed" to run a site that meets the needs of its customers...too bad really.
software changes have put many a company on the ropes.

There is not a magic program that you install that does everything you want instantly. You guys would be birching much more if the new software was "turned-on" without a thorough debugging.
Some people are never happy- they move from one topic to another just to complain.
