We made the switch

It looks good. Messages now run up to Sept. 13, so there's only about a month of lost, albeit recent, data, as opposed to six months. Everything stable and speed still decent.

the various topics fill up with post again. I wouldn't doubt if some folks
are just fed up...hope not, but there have been some pretty unhappy
members over the year. The speed is still just terrible.

Thank you. Know all of this must have been hard on you and your staff and restoration wasnt easy. In the "for what its worth" department think you all made the right decision and the sacrifice of the few more current messages was far outweighed by restoring the previous data.

So is this now the fully updated version of your site or is that upgrade still to come? While the boards are certainly faster than they were, they are still much MUCH slower than any other site I visit. Is this as good as it gets?

No, this is not the fully updated version. The redeveloped site will be launched in November or December.

Sounds like tough work ... and tough luck. The boards and the brand have lost a lot of value over this past year. I imagine you guys will figure out a way to scratch out a livin'.
