Good morning. With the elimination of the print version of the monthly newsletter, are there any plans to eliminate the print version of the MRB? I sure hope not.

Actually, I wouldn't mind if there was a phone version. The book is a little bulky to carry in my pocket.
We have no plans to get rid of our paper MRB.
Thanks. I still prefer a paper MRB, haven't made that transition to e-everything.
Very glad to hear that you will keep the paper MRB. I find the current coupon book extremely handy. Before a trip I do some research and use a yellow highlighter on the coupons that I will definitely take advantage of. Don't know how this could be done on my iPad.
Glad something isn't changing (the paper MRB). One of my archaic systems can rest easy.
In order to have an electronic MRB, it would require each of the casinos have the same technology to read the coupon & cancel it, since the coupon is a one time use only.
To much work on the back end at this time

Nope. It wouldn't take any extra technology on their part at all. The app could generate a one-time numeric code, which could be shown to the employee redeeming the coupon. They already have a way to record coupon redemption, as they want to avoid people using the same coupon more than once in a calendar year.
It would be much easier than having to carry around the coupon book, and no inconvenience at all, since almost everyone has a phone.

I'm aware it's going to happen as you describe it. I just don't want it to. *l* Nor does my $39 flip phone. Call it intentional appreciation of antiquated systems, which won't surprise you whatsoever. Don't you like the Old West? What's wrong with you? *l*

This would likely cause a loss in the number of properties who are willing to give coupons due to the fact that each property would have to generate a computer program to accept the coupon. I doubt that they would go to the effort and expense to do this.
