Yes it happened the next day after Anthony replied the video/pop ups were irritating to him after viewing. But I do understand it's tough to make a buck right now. No new memberships, no concert/show tickets, no room bookings etc. Everything is shut down right now for him.
They weren't bad. They needed some placement tweaking and how they interacted with mobile devices. Sites have to make money to stay online. I suspect most here are running ad blockers so the old conventional banner ads don't even show up.
I suspect the people that complained the most were running adblockers and weren't use to seeing any ads at all.
I suggest going with a mandatory whitelisting requirement to view the site. That is what most other sites use.
Everybody can jump in and buy a book or something from the LVA store. Maybe buy some in advance for gifts. Or send in a donation, enough to buy lunch for the staff one day. How many are working? Seriously.
That's a great idea, Candy.
Anthony, if you see this post, is there an area restaurant your staff would like a gift card from?
Tommy
Thanks for the thought. Everyone's working from home. When they come in I buy pizza.
