More and more frequently, I've picked some few-day period when I'm considering visiting Vegas, but when I check room prices, I find that rooms at the Golden Commode or the Slipping Silver are $11,000 a night (plus $2000 if I want a bed). If I ask someone why, it always turns out that that is the week/weekend of the Grand Convention of Blind Left-Handed Proctologists, or the Annual Nun-Beating Festival Gala, or the Super Dooper Pooper Scooper Bowl.
I was wondering if LVA would consider putting up something like a "Stay Away" page that would tell us when all those price-jacking "events" are going to occur? I fully realize that the times when such events are not occurring are becoming more and more rare, but there are still some such periods (I hope). It would be extremely useful, especially if you're trying to snag good room rates, etc. by planning well ahead.
And of course, it's possible that the "Stay Away" calendar would be quite concise: "2024." But I hope not.
