It seems to depend on something...I don't know what, though, since I can read a blog without annoyance on Tuesday and then get popuped to death on Wednesday...same blog,, same time of day, same device. I don't use popup blockers because they tend to interfere with submenus and such on sites where I want them.
LVA's web provider is really pretty awful. They provide poor service, frequently slow everything to a crawl, and then slather everything with ads. It's almost a constant that I wait for ..ev...er for a page to load and I wonder if my Internet service is taking a dump, so I log off and bring up another site, and BAM! it instantly loads.
My only "defense" is to note the advertisers and solemnly swear to never, ever buy their products, and in the unlikely event that the opportunity arises, burn down their headquarters.
