Upcoming trip to Vegas....4/15-4/21....kept watching rates...sky high $3-400 range! Finally find one with Budget for $207 for the week. After seeing what I had been, I grabbed it, but kept checking once a day. Four days ago, find one with Thrifty for $169.81 for the week, all in.....grab it, cancel Budget. After I did the one with Thrifty, I left the window open and come in tonight and just for the fun of it, clicked "check rates". Plugged it in and CRAP..........NEW RATE $139.03. True, it's a "we pick the car, compact or larger" but I've done that before and the only thing they have picked is the row that *I* pick any car from. Lowest price for a week rental that I've had in at least 6-7 years. Now I just have to dodge the parking fees. Have MGM cover with play level and have CET covered with TR credit card. Already decided I won't spend one red cent in any place I have to pay to park, simple as that. I'm sure my bankroll won't make a dent, but if enough people did the same think, MAYBE the fees would go away. Doesn't look that way with MGM's big increase announcement today, but we can hope!
