Convention Calendar info....missing?

 I always found it useful to see what conventions are scheduled.. but what made it MORE valuable to me as a gambler, was how many people were expected to attend and where the convention would be. This helps me to AVOID travel to LV on those dates, and to avoid the hotels being used.

   I don't see this info any longer in your newsletter. I went to the LV Convention and Visitors Bureau website, but none of that info is available.

  I'm planing a June, 2023 trip to the Venetian and trying to avoid the convention crowd. 

  I learned the hard way a couple of years ago...at the Cosmopolitian (my favorite place) which was overrun with young male techie nerds there for a confab: all the restaurants were booked, and all the bars bursting. Not a fun place to be for a retired lady.

When conventions started back up after the pandemic restrictions were lifted allowing them to proceed again, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority stopped publishing expected-attendee numbers. The number of people attending conventions was at the time and still is too variable to pin down with any accuracy. And without those numbers, it's difficult to distinguish between the confabs you have to worry about in terms of crowds and prices and those you don't....
