Extension of expiration date Rewards Book coupons

Have you considered requesting an extension on the expiration of the coupons in the Members Rewards Book? I understand each casino would have to make the call for their own property, but in light of the current situation I'd hope at least some of them would be open to it.

Most of the coupons are still in date, if you go before the last half of December.

All establishments require the user to physically detach the coupon in the presence of an employee.  Now LVA would be looking at a re-printing situation.  Impossible.

Everybody just bring the 2020 coupon book to where you'd hoped to use it.  Show it to a manager, ask if (s)he would honor it since you weren't able to use it due to the shut-down but love their place, etc. etc.

You'd probably stand just as good a chance of getting either the discount on the coupon or perhaps something else a front line manager could do, versus expecting LVA to get into negiotiations with the higher-ups in the food chain.  And then if by some miracle one said "yes", would the word get down to every server, every cashier, every pit supervisor...on and on?  JMHO.

I don't think they'd necessarily have to re-print the coupons. ACG has already arranged for some casinos to honor the 2020 coupons until EOY 2021.

Interesting.  How was this announced?

Which casinos?  Which coupons?   With whom did ACG connect (at each casino) to accomplish this?

ACG has a different arrangement regarding this than LVA does. ACG has been negotiating to get its existing coupons honored in 2021. LVA hasn't taken any such steps. Anthony said he doesn't expect the casinos to negotiate that in the midst of all the other issues they are facing.

They're like parasites whose hosts have died. They're frantically casting about, looking for new places to feed. The coupons are a tertiary consideration for them.

A LOT of casinos will not be coming back. Ever.

So I guess the staff has no interest in responding? Seems like it was a civil enough question.

Matt, they've addressed this question many times recently.  If you look back there was a long thread about it, asked and answered by Anthony Curtis, in which he explains the difficulty in attempting what you asked.

Where would I find that thread?

Matt, it is the thread just a few Topics down from yours, "MRO Discounts for dining to soften the blow..."

Open it and scroll down to find Anthony Curtis' response.

I'm sure we will be notified if anything new comes about.  That thread originated in June.
