Forum Rules

Is there a link to the Forum rules?  I notice in the Kitchen Sink that it mentions that "rules still apply."  I'm wondering what those rules are, as the Kitchen Sink seems to be a section where people can post about politics and other topics, and there seems to be extreme vitriol between some posters, that is starting to permeate to the Las Vegas related topics. Thanks in advance.

I try to keep the vitriol, as you aptly call it, inside the Sink, regardless of whether there are rules that explicitly state that I should. But when other posters attack me (or others) outside the Sink, I will respond in kind. Perhaps I shouldn't even do that.

I don't think that David Miller respects that rule at all. He hasn't been punished for his countless violations of it, so I guess, why should he? He's like a toddler that never gets spanked.

Apparently my comment about Lying Lewis breaking the Forum Rules is not allowed. Why is that? He has broken the rules countless times in the past 7+ years and he whines and complains to Anthony whenever anyone else responds to his rule breaking in kind. Why is Lewis allowed to repeatedly break the rules and others are not?

Who knows if it's not allowed, if no one knows the actual rules that are supposed to be followed.  What are the rules, David?  Really would like some clarification on this going forward.

Edso - the "rules" used to be found for the Forum - but have been removed, as to why - who knows. They addressed decorum and content and for some untold reason are no longer posted.

I notice that the description for The Sink has been changed.  Where it used to say, "The rules still apply", it now says "This is a no rule zone."  So The Sink is now the Wild, Wild, West.....anything goes.  Good to know.

So where are the rules for the rest of the Forum, outside of The Sink, so we can at least apply those in the other Topics?

Thanks in advance.

That notation implies that "the rules," whatever they may be, do exist outside the Sink; and until somwthing more definitive is made available, I'll assume that the "old" rules are still in force.

I invite anyone to examine the thread I started in the Gambling forum about the Circa contest and judge for themselves whether David Miller was following the rules. (The rules of civil discourse and common decency aren't the same thing; if they were, I wouldn't even need to ask the question--he definitely broke those.)
