I don't give a damn what anyone's politics are. But when those politics are hurting people, I feel I have to say something. We all do.

And of course, that inevitably leads to those on the hurt-people side calling for my banishment, execution, etc. I'm used to it.

I'm fine Kevin is back.  He has good knowledge and unique insight into Vegas.  I'd prefer fewer political and anti-Vegas posts, but that's just my two pennies worth.

Maybe you didn't notice that what had been an intelligent discussion was ruined by David Miller's personal attacks.

Kevin, I know a lot of this begins with politics and my own views are very much aligned with yours.  Both of you  bicker like children and, when confronted, say "but he started it."  It gets old and doesn't belong here.  From a gambling and Vegas standpoint you know a lot and are a valuable contributor to the forums.  As for politics, I suppose you know that it's nearly impossible to sway the opinion of anyone with strong preconceived beliefs; about all you do is get people to say, "look at those libtards, they bicker like children."  All just my opinion, of course.

The difference is that I keep it in the Sink.

And anyone using the term "libtards" isn't going to be engaging with anyone, not constructively, anyway.

Wait?  Am I missing something?  Your use of Conservitards all over this forum doesn't count?  Not to mention all the racial vitriol you spew all over the place?

I'll appreciate anything Vegas related on here, but you can stuff all of your one sided political crap way up your ass.  Find another forum.  CNN and MSNBC might work.

Kevin, I agree that language like libtard or conservitard is just childish.  I see nothing wrong with strong political views, just with personal attacks and insults.  You'd never speak to someone like that face-to-face.  There's that halo effect:  if you speak like that, people automatically assume that your beliefs are garbage.
