Kitchen Sink

I realize that you created that topic to allow the ranting that was invading all the other forums.  However, IMHO anyone that is considering becoming a LVA member that looks at that forum would go "WHAT?!!!" and possibly rethink any membership (regardless of their political leanings).  I would suggest you either get rid of that forum or restrict that it can only be read my paying members.  The name calling and language has gotten totally out of hand.

I would have to agree this :

"Fuck you, and all you fucking trump traitors. I hope that when you find your face to the bricks, I'm the one behind you pullin' the bolt back."

Is becoming everyday fodder. It is also stopping many people from bringing up anything or commenting because it quickly degenerates into name calling and actual physical threats . As one of the long time paying customers I am frequenting less and certainly thinking several times before I comment. The comments by the same people are  starting to spill over into the other forum areas also. Very sad to see

Big time waster for us, but the main alternative is to discontinue message boards altogether. We'll try to keep it confined to that one stupid category and we'll have to start banning offenders. If you see it elsewhere, let us know.

Anthony, you may have noticed that David Miller has resumed making his physical threats, repeatedly saying what he'll do to people if he encounters them in Las Vegas.

This isn't the first time he's done that, either--more like the sixth.

It's likely that he's just chest-thumping, but a lot of psychopaths have hurt people who thought they were harmless. I would also point out the possibility, however distant, that if LVA provides a conduit for such threats, it could conceivably be held liable in some fashion. That wouldn't be fair--but, just sayin'.

Less than 24 hours after Anthony's post, Kevin is posting about sex with blowup dolls.

Not really--I mentioned it in passing. But so what? You're just trying to attack me again? Get a life. And take it back to the Sink if you must continue.

It isn't even 9am, & you have about a dozen posts in.

It looks like you are the one who needs a life.

Attack me in the Sink, if that gets you off, but Anthony has said several times that he doesn't want the nasty stuff in other threads. Respect his request. Go over there and post all the nasty shit attacks on me or anyone else that you wish.

Currently, a tiny handful of chronic posters accounts for about 80%-90% of all the abusive and excessive posts. These four or five posters are as bad as (or worse than) commercial spammers.

Why not set a maximum number of posts per day that a member can post? Three posts per day should be sufficient for anyone to express how they feel about the burning issues of the moment.

The dozens of daily back and forth ad hominem posts (favored by David Miller and Kevin Lewis, as two prominent examples) would disappear if they did not have carte blanche to use the LVA forums to engage in an AYCT (all you can throw) 24/7 food fight.

It really wouldn't be a discussion forum then would it?   I don't know if you were around at the old forum but when political discussion was banned the entire forum died even the Las Vegas posts.
