A little over 3 years ago forum rules were posted and included was:

You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective.

Do not post “offensive” posts... Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is ... obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. ... Use common sense while posting. Remain respectful of other members at all times. All posts should be professional and courteous.

However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. 

That ship sailed some time ago---pretty much coincident with the rise of our glorious orange leader. But Anthony has issued a warning, and maybe it'll be heeded. For a while. Sort of. Until it isn't.

These are extremely stressful times and our country is drasticallly polarized. We can't have the folks over for Sunday dinner without Aunt Hattie getting mad at Uncle Clem and trying to beat him to death with a stale dinner roll. So internet discussions, where there isn't even the moderating influence of the person you insult being able to punch you in the face, are worse than ever.

I think we can all agree that there are some fundamental areas of our society that have to be fixed. What we can't seem to agree on is what those areas are. Maybe that will improve once the pandemic is over.

Vegas Todd has a post today showing a dog having sex with a doll. I think this fits the obscene category.

You make it sound like you haven't been the captain or co-captain of the good ship, The RMS Ad Hominem. That's rich. Have the candor to take ownership of what you do all day long in that forum, or defend what you do all day long or apologize for it or invoke the always popular "He started it." But don't pretend you aren't a key player.

Blaming the pandemic is a non-starter. There is no difference in the amount of beserk pugilism now than there was before the pandemic started.

Most internet forums do not allow even a pale version of what you and your fellow combatants hurl all day long at each other in the Kitchen Sink. Those forum's rules are the same as LVA's rules except the other forums enforce their rules.

Whatever, Jeff. The rancor started long before I ever participated in the forums. If you want to blame me for all of it, for the takeover of America by the liberal Deep State, or for the fact that you burned your toast this morning, I can't stop you.

Actually, you're assuming that's what it shows. Looks to me like the dog is attacking the doll.

But we all know that you see things, um, differently. That's perfectly acceptable, and easily treatable.

Come on Tom.  Have a sense of humor. That kind of stuff was posted for years here. I recall a thrusting stormtrooper, Cheerleaders, guides to strip clubs, members posting their beaver, Las Veas pool girls, rate the rack threads,  trip reports where members discussed the different types of sex they had and on and on.  

It seems a lot folks here have gotten prudish as they have aged. 

No, no, it's faux outrage, with the goal of attacking posters "on the other side," and they aren't offended in the slightest, given that they post all sorts of offensive shit themselves whenever they feel like it.

Kevin, Anthony has said that he doesn't want the nasty stuff on Kitchen Sink.

Then you should stop posting it.
