Patricia, send this in for a QoD. A timely subject. E-mail to deke castleman.
What is email to deke casleman mean
Patricia,
Deke Castleman fields, researches, and composes the majority of QoDs.

Or, there might be contact info on the Flamingo web page. The hotels probably all have a different procedure anyway.
Every casino-hotel that is operational has detailed information regarding your specific question on its website.
However, the degree to which the stated procedures are complied with varies. When I recently visited South Point, I did not trust that my room had been properly disinfected, as I generally do not place complete trust in other people having done things that if not done properly, might kill me. I accordingly carried a spray bottle of disinfectant and treated every single surface in the room before touching anything.
Regardless of what the hotel you are staying in tells you, I would recommend you do the same.
Thanks exactly what I plan I have more cleaning product in
my luggage then cloth ha ha
i would just like to know
the mattress is a thought
i looked at Flamingo website
they just say Daly cleaning
only upon request
The short answer is....They're not disinfecting their rooms. Think about the time it would take to thoroughly diinfect a room. Think about the staff they've furloghed that won't be disinfecting the rooms. How many hotels replace the outer coverings on their beds? Be aware. Be very aware!!!
Does anyone "disinfect" your own house, every day? I would bet that most of us clean our houses to some degree on most days, some days better than others, but...disinfect? No.

That reply about one's home is so plainly immaterial to the disinfecting of hotel rooms that I won't bother to explain why.
But moving on ...
In the early days of the pandemic, there was more concern about transmission via surfaces than there has been of late. More and more, it seems research and evidence have pointed to airborne transmission as the primary route by which people become infected and less by the virus living on surfaces that you touch.
If I were visiting a hotel/casino today, I would be much more worried about getting sick from inhaling the virus in public places even with social distancing and mask wearing than I would be from touching a surface in my hotel room.
That said, I'd certainly bring my hand sanitizer and use it on door handles, the TV remote, phone, faucets etc.

Jeff, I appreciate your restraint. You sound like a really nice person.
