Membership benefits question

Do all Platinum membership benefits last 12 full months, or only the calendar year purchased?

If someone purchased a Platinum membership in May do they have all benefits until May of the following year, or do they lose their benefits at the end of December?

It is for 12 months; but in the example above you can't get a 2026 coupon book until you renew, which could be done now.

Your membership runs 12 months from the date you enroll or renew. You can opt to receive the current MRB or the next year's MRB, but not both.

It's possible to get the MRB when you sign up and again when it comes out in January if you pay for another year's membership at that time.

Thanks for posting this LiveFree.  I just renewed my membership.  I do it on the 30th or 31st of December as a way to start the New Year on the right foot.  And as Tom stated, you won't get the 2026 coupon book until you renew is May,  but if you are planning a trip before then, it's not a bad idea to renew now, so you have access to the coupon book when it gets delivered in the middle (hopefully) of January.

Be well and Happy New Year.

Thanks for the replies everyone. That's what I was expecting.

I became a member last may and received the book. I figured most likely I would need to buy a new one. I'll probably start renewing every January or February. Would I be correct in presuming the online coupons work the same way as the book?

Well, no. They're SUPPOSED to work the same way but due to differing casino policies and boothlings being unfamiliar with LVA and/or dumber than dirt, they rarely do. The most famous example has been the Palms buffet coupon. What a total clusterfuck that was initially, though they seem to have ironed out the problems.

For whatever reason, online/digital coupons still aren't trusted/believed as much as physical paper ones. Perhaps it's because any clown can make a realistic-looking digital coupon using readily available software, but most people don't have a printing press or something that could manufacture a bogus coupon book.

As I alluded above, the real problem is that casino marketing departments very often don't brief their foot soldiers about new promotions. The number of times my presentation of a coupon or mention of a promotion has been met with a blank stare is in the hundreds, if not thousands.

Being a long time Las Vegas Advisor subscriber I can speak - only for myself - that in all of the years of using Advisor coupons - from the book and/or online coupons- I have NEVER had an instance of being unable to use the coupon. Whenever the person working the desk was unaware or did not know about the coupon, the confusion was quickly cleared up - which has only happened twice in over 15+ years.

Sorry I wasn't clear. By works the same way as the book. I meant that I should expect to lose access to the online coupons in January unless I renew again? Or will I have access until may?
