The pop-up ads freeze my computer

This happens every time I'm on the site--sometimes immediately, sometimes after a while. My only choice is to reboot. Very, very annoying.

Whoever runs your server/website hosting does a very, very poor job, and you should change providers immediately.

Even though I do not like the "pop ups", I have never had a problem with my computer "freezing up". If others who view/post here have a similar problem, it would be nice if they would state so - then it could be determined if the problem is the fault of the hosting server/website or possibly the fault of some other internet source.

No issue here with freezing.  I x the pop-ups out immediately, have no idea of profit over cost for anybody.

Well, I try to kill the popups the instant they appear, but if I'm typing at the moment, sometimes I'm not fast enough. But if I do that instantly, yeah, no freeze-up.

Such a brilliant marketing company that installs an advertising system, the only sane response to which is to immediately obliterate their ads the instant they appear. Sorta like a TV commercial that turns your TV off if you change the channel or even mute the audio.

If I had a revenue-producing website, I would NEVER install those extremely annoying and obtrusive pop-up ads. If I couldn't keep the damn thing alive in some other way besides repeatedly smooshing a shit pie into the faces of subscribers, I'd shut it down.

Maybe they can afford to kill some of the popups now that they're increasing the LVA price by 35% next year.

Considering the fact that the Advisor has not increased their membership fee for 30 years (since 1992), I am surprised that the membership fees have stayed what they were for such a long time. What they are doing makes complete sense, and, as Anthony said, if one desires a "hard copy", one can always press the "print" option and make their own hard copy.

Not saying the price increase is unreasonable.   Just saying it would be nice to invest a bit of it in this website to kill the popups and perhaps install a spam blocker so there aren't five dozen CBD posts each morning in each forum.

I also dislike the pop ups and wish they would never appear and I believe that the Advisor staff is fed up with having to delete the pop ups each day.

As with Kevin, my iPad will freeze if I respond to a topic and a pop up appears. Desktop computer has no problem.
