I'm flattered by all the hatred! (But which person's religion did I insult?) Just so you know, Marty, "insulting" a religion isn't against the law. Why should religious institutions be "hands-off" regarding criticism, satire, or mockery?
The energy you're expending on your faux outrage could probably power up several homes in Texas. If only you could somehow channel it...C'mon over to the Sink and attack me there; that's what it's for!!!
Seemed pretty harmless. He certainly wasn't targeting anyone, but was making a joke about polygamy in general in a way that's fairly common. In my opinion, being overly sensitive and PC is a form of politics, so we try not to do that, either. If somone who's Mormon is honestly offended, contact me and we'll take that comment down, since it's not germane to the conversation.
Well, obviously, Marty's faux outrage wasn't about my defiling the noble Mormon religion; it was a thinly veiled "attack Kevin" excuse.
I hasten to add that I welcome such attacks, but they should be confined to the Sink and not be some bleat to the authorities about how I should be banned for life and/or taken out and shot.
