Question about Rio coupon

Yes, I was able to use the code, and it gave me a 30% room rate discount. However, it did NOT give me a resort fee waiver. So that might not be the code we need.

Interesting. Maybe the reason you have to talk to an agent now is to get that resort fee removed.

I understand they want to make sure it doesn't get used multiple times again but I would hope there'd be a way to do it without having to call.

The code should be working now. You must surrender your coupon upon check in.

So it looks like it's a one-shot now. Well, poo.

I think that was the intent last year too it just didn't work out that way. Sounds like you were able to take good advantage of it last year though.

Oh, indeed. I might have gotten even more out of it had I known earlier that the code was reusable and they wouldn't even ask for the coupon.

I was just viewing.I logon to website.Put in code. The discount showed up.

Works fine. I booked for June. Super low Masquerade rates. No resort fees.

Wait and see if they ask for the coupon. I have used it year after year. I was never asked about the coupon.

That's the $64,000 question, as last year, they didn't ask for the coupon (and due to their crap customer service, you had to do everything at a kiosk anyway), enabling you to reuse the code on subsequent visits.

We'll need reports from the field as to whether the coupon is required to check in and/or the offer code is reusable.
