The Rio LVA coupon is worthless

I just had a 4 night stay at Rio and couldn't be happier with the LVA25 deal.

on the web site clicked book now and there was a promo button

clicked on that and put in code added dates  and hit update and got renovated room 21.00 plus tax and no resort fee

could have paid 13.00 for older tower if wanted to really cheap out

used the online check in when plane landed and on arrival scanned code at kiosk and got 2 keys no problem

Found the promo button, thanks for the info.

I have found $13 rooms during the week using the LVA 25 code.  I clicked into the terms and it mentions a $50 resort fee per day.  Is this waived?

It's supposed to be. I couldn't get the site to accept it. Others appear to have had no problem. That's why I called them. As I said, that turned out to be a brick wall.

On the Rio website homepage, click "book now",  above the arrival and departure dates, there is a "promo code" button, click that. It opens a box to enter LVA25, and when you apply it, it'll show "Las Vegas Advisor" as the promo and removes the resort fee.

I never could find it until I read harveyj10's post, felt like an idiot when I finally figured it out!

I believe it is, when you quote without the code, the resort fee is added to the final price, when you quote with the code, the resort fee is not applied to the price.

This must be a recent fix. I just tried it again,  and for the first time, the resort fee wasn't added back on when I went to "checkout."

I just booked a quick trip in December, 3 nights, old room, for $92.86 total.

Hi Max.  The rates change often.  Take care on the Front Range.

Yeah, I'll keep checking back on the pricing. Take care.
