Tapping out

I was confronted with a new login button this am that tried to get me to download a browser extension.  While in the backgroud some non-sense page popped-up as a side-effect of coming to this website.  A website connected to a paid membership.  Well, you win.  I've had enough of this crumby site.  I won't renew my membership or visit this site anymore.  It's as if you're design and business decisions are aimed at pushing people away from this site.  I've never seen anything like it and I work in this space.  Hopefully the last member can turn off the lights.   Best of luck!

I use Ad Blocker and I do not see any pop ups here or on most other sites. Some sites display a huge, page blocking notice wanting me to disable my Ad Blocker for me to be able to see content - I just log off that site and never attempt to view that site again.

I have an ad blocker on but every time I come here an adware/malware window pops up. The latest is one that tells me apple.com wants me to update my Adobe Flash. I got fooled on this a year ago at another website. It's totally bogus. I don't understand why you let this continue. I'm not writing about the ones AdChoices puts up here like the Chevrolet ad and the other "MUST-READ" ad I can see as I write this, but the ones that are put up for no good purpose in a separate window. If it's a problem with the software package you bought for this website you need to hire someone who can fix it because it's doing nothing for your credibility.

Why should I need to run an ad blocker on a site that I'm a paying member for?
