Unable to Read any Blogs

HI,

I cant read any blogs.  When I click on the blog it asks me to log in, even though I am logged in.  I can read comments left by LVA members, but can not read the blogs.  I have refreshed my browser, still not able.

Any help is appreciated

And we are to renew not knowing the new book?  Weird business model.  Why can't the 2025 book at least be announced by mid December again?

In most years, one or more deals have been finalized only a few days before the printing deadline.

If you think the MRB won't be everything you're hoping for, you can get a membership that includes only access to the website and newsletter, and I'm sure they'd let you pay the difference and upgrade if you changed your mind.

I really doubt there is a bunch of "finalizing of deals" between Christmas and New Years.  

All I'm saying is it is odd to cut off our membership at 1/1/xx when the next one really doesn't start until late January every year.  (when the books are ready)

They don't do that. Your membership is for one year regardless of when it starts. The criterion for whether you need to renew to get the MRB is if you've already received one during that membership year. So if you joined in, say, November 2024, and got the book, you wouldn't get the 2025 book unless you paid for another year's membership. Conversely, if you joined late in 2024 and never got the book, you could get the 2025 book without having to pay for another year.

And as far as your other remark goes, the last week of the year is an extremely busy period in Vegas, business-wise, and a LOT gets done. That's because everyone in Vegas expects to be working OT, not to be on vacation. So I'm pretty sure that LVA was full steam ahead between Xmas and New Year's.

You're both full of it. LVA isn't like most other businesses; in fact, it's almost unique. So how other businesses operate is beside the point. However, Jerry's question is legitimate and shouldn't have produced a personally insulting response from Dan.

The increasing lack of civility I see and hear everywhere goes a long way toward explaining why we just elected one of the most uncivil human beings in world history.
