Unable to Read any Blogs

Personally, I think Rob Reiner, Joy Behar, Chrissy Teigen, Robert DeNiro, Rosie O'Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg, Cher, Barbara Streisand, George Soros, and Michael Moore are pretty hateful as well.

I really doubt there is a bunch of "finalizing of deals" between Christmas and New Years.

All I'm saying is it is odd to cut off our membership at 1/1/xx when the next one really doesn't start until late January every year.  (when the books are ready)

Really? The MRB went to the printer yesterday and 10 deals were finalized YESTERDAY MORNING. Everyone thinks they know how this works. They don't. We are at the mercy of the casinos' timetables. Most don't want to commit early, then it gets to December and no one wants to work during the holidays. We have to essentially work around the clock in the first week of January. We don't even have time to respond to these questions. To suggest we "know" what will be in the MRB in December is just completely uninformed foolishness. No, we don't like that it's not ready by the first week in January, but its not a good trade to save two weeks over securing several excellent deals that waiting produces.

I also cannot read the blogs. My membership is current, having renewed in November. What is the problem?

Just tried again and was able to read. Can't figure out what the problem was.

So many LVA subscribers are actual babies.

Each subscription lasts one year.

Once a year, LVA negotiates new deals on our behalf.

Why is this a problem?

Wah wah wah!

The coupons are great this year. Thank you, Anthony!

Fair enough.  I suppose you can't force the casinos to adhere to your timelines on coupons, etc. that they are putting out there.   I never said you "know" what the MRB wll be in December.  I just said it would be nice to know it.  (Sidenote:  I'm a little surprised the casinos aren't busier in the first week of January than they are in first week of December though but I don't know the industry.  Kevin told us earlier in this post the casinos are really busy and everybody is working hard between the holidays so what you posted above obviously makes that untrue as well)

Any thoughts to making the books run 2/1/XX to 1/31/XX though?  I suppose that kinds of looks foolish though and is easier to just call them 2024 or 2025 MRB.   I'll get my order in.  Thanks

I appreciate the hard work and the excellent coupons this year. We used to plan our trip in January over MLK but because we love this book so much we wait until February to make sure we have it in hand.

Enjoy the trip, Julie, and happy coupouning!

If I remember right, one's Membership and the Coupon Book are two different things.  And you get to pick which year of the Coupon Book you want.

Should you renew your MEMBERSHIP in July of 2024, you got to select whether you want a 2024 Coupon book or 2025 Coupon book.  Depends on your vacation plans, if you know them.

I've been around long enough that if I had my druthers, and my trip happiness depended on having the coupon book, I wouldn't plan my trip in early, even mid January.

There is so much more to getting this coupon book together, organized, to the printer, back from the printer, mailed out to those who paid for it...meanwhile the casino or eatery or whatever manager has a stack of other requests to consider, their own budget for the coming year, is this LVA juice worth the squeeze?  Those suits aren't calling LVA to give stuff away.  And they aren't worried about our January trips and about LVA deadlines, so Anthony has to keep on calling, waiting, calling again, and for all that some a-hole of a manager may string him along until the 11th hour and then decide "NO".  Time and effort wasted.  But hopefully enough will decide "YES" to make it worth sweating it out...all on our behalf.  I guess he already said all that, but I remember it every year when folks start begging in November to know what coupons will be in next year's book.

I for one appreciate those mighty efforts.
