Various pop-up ads appear on the webpages on this site, and they're usually trying to sell something--annoying, but tolerable. However, I've recently seen right-wing extremist ads, such as "Sign the Antifa Terrorist Petition!" and "Do You Approve of Illegal Immigration???" (with a big American flag, of course--or a picture of Donald Trump).
Aside from the fact that these ads often appear on pages we've PAID to see, shouldn't the LVA be a wee bit ashamed of itself for disseminating right-wing propaganda? It's false and divisive, and worse than pointless.
I hasten to add I would be equally displeased to se, say, a Joe Biden ad. But allowing the LVA pages to be a bully pulpit for the forces of evil---that's not only displeasing but also, deeply unsettling. (And yes, I know that many people here actually LUVVVV such alt-right propaganda.)
Your call, of course, as to what advertising you accept, but I would consider the impact of, say, a torchlight parade video on your public image, even if it DOES bring in revenue.
