1,000 Tier or 2,500 Tier Day Experiences here............

LOL. You're welcome to email it to me and I'll be happy to post for you.
As of Jan 23, Total Rewards says they've awarded 248,349,125 in tier credit bonuses.
My husband and I were playing on one of our cards a day. We earned points at the Rio and then went to Laughlin where we finished a 1000pt day and did receive the extra 1000 the next day. Unfortunately, while checking my points in Laughlin, I left and forgot my ticket for $140. I went around the corner to the restroom and suddenly remembered that I didn't take out my ticket. When I returned probably 5 mins., a lady was playing the machine. I told her I forgot to take my ticket. She had over $200 on the machine. My husband brought security over. They checked the machine and no ticket was redeemed for the $140. They saw that the lady had $91 ticket entered. They checked my card and showed when my card was removed. We were within a minute of the time I recorded in my records. I filled out a form with security, but have not heard anthing yet. I am going to call tomorrow to see if anything was done. It was so obvious that this lady was playing on my credits, but of course, they couldn't see anything about the $140. She said that someone cashed out the $140. I think maybe she thought that was true, but the machine said otherwise. Supposedly, they were going to check the videos.

We also played at Paris & Harrah's same day for 500pts on hubby's card. We also had a 1000pt day at Rio as well. I'm not sure if we will have a 2500pt day even with both playing. Maybe if we have some great luck on $.

My brother has been playing frequently in Cleveland and is up to 7000pts already and he has never been diamond before probably because of traveling to casinos. He just made platinum in December. He has had at least 2 1000 pt days now that he has been dabbling with $ vp. He only plays vp same as we do.

CLV: We were sorry to see that you were sick while we were all in Vegas. Also sorry to hear that your trip turned out so bad with gambling. We also took a big hit on our trip this time. I was thinking about you and your progressives when we were at South Point and 2 Bonus Deuces banks of machines had quarter progressives over $2000+ and $1700 hundred and not a seat was available. I played at one at $1300 and probably the next day it was at $1700 after the over $2000 (I think it was $2500) was hit. The locals must really watch these particular machines. I guess I have to be more attentive next time I go there. I have dabbled with this game some in Cleveland, but definitely need a bank roll for the long haul. I'm guessing that maybe they have some teams play these. Anybody here?

CLV, I have had those losing trips and being sick on top of that really sucks. Glad you are feeling better and that you are halfway to Diamond! Hope to see you soon when I hope we both kick some VP butt!
I do not usually play VP because I get bored easily and also I had thought it was harder to accrue TPs on VP - but maybe I will have to try a bit harder. I do like the multiple play machines cause when I have 100 hands to look at it def keeps my interest!(can we say ADD?!)
I try not to chase comps but I def try to be strategic about how I spend my budget.
So sorry to hear about your mishap in Laughlin CLV - loosing money that way is even worse than the typical way!!

Wow--seems like an awful lot of points, but when you consider how many people are playing across the county. Them diamond lounges are going to be pretty full at this rate.
Had my first trip of the year a week ago. stayed at Bally's for 2 nights and Palms for 2.
got in on Friday night about 7:00 and headed straight for the 3/5 .25 machines. had to find them first since they were moved due to the new poker room. with in 3 hours, I had my first royal of the weekend.
Friday night ended up with 550 points so got the extra 125. Saturday had my spa in the morning and was on the machines at about 1:00. had to leave at 6:00 as I had tickets for the hockey game but played after the game and got the 2500 pnts and the extra 5,000. what really helped was another royal and 2- aces with kicker, one on DDB and one on TDB. checked out on Sun and played for a bit but I just knew that it was not going to be a good day to play so I only left with 50 points for Sunday. but even better I left with all my money that I started with. Only one trip and I am half way to Diamond again. all the points were on my card on Sunday. 8663 points. Palms was my downfall this trip. could not get anything on any of the machines. up untill this last trip, palms has always been good to me But not this trip.

Now I'm mad myself for losing some of that money to try to get to 2500. They definitely are on to something with this new tier system. My goal now is to stop at 500 or 1000 (unless of course I hit really big lol) The extra 1000 points hit two days later.

Ltax49 is right.

I had a host tell me that local players playing $20 a day and making diamond come to Vegas and expect to be comped everything and treated like a whale. She said management was doing something about it. Looks like they did.
