1,000 Tier or 2,500 Tier Day Experiences here............

I had back to back 1,000 point days while at Bally's A.C. 2 weeks ago. Mostly 3 line quarter progressives and dollar DDB (kept me alive on the 1st day). About 3 hours of Piagow at Showbaot helped a lil also. On the 2nd day I hit a royal in hearts on 3rd line of the B/P progressive (held K hearts and drew 4). Guy next to me was not impressed

I couldn't really understand the system but Lil sis (AKA as FFlowers) walked me thru the process as my bonus tier points were added over a period of 2/3 days!
I played at Rincon on a multiple point day as well as 50 points and get a $20 voucher for any restaurant or a free buffet...so it was a good day to go for it.

I played mostly $1 8/5 BP (the best machines there now) and though it took most the day, I managed the 2556 points. A couple days later my account showed my tier credits at 7556 points...half way to diamond until March 2015. Though I didn't hit any quad Aces this day (I had better luck in the past) and no royals, I did mange a couple bonus quads and some other 4OAKs. I end up losing $600 for the day. Hopefully next time, it'll go a little better.

I plan on doing this again in February on another multiplyer day.

Not surprisingly, my mailers have increased quite a bit (I'm a Diamond). I used to get a $10 free play (big whoop) and today I got a voucher for $110 in free play, plus I used to be limited to four free nights a month Sun-Thur, but now get four free nights any day of the week.

Assuming I hit the 15,000 tier points on my next trip, the only thing I'll have to decide is whether or not to go for the next Diamond levels. My guess is that will depend how I do. If I hit a royal, I'm sure I will, if I have another losing day...perhaps not. We'll see what the future brings. I'll post again after the February trip.
sionow- glad I'm not the only maniac. lol

Now, I'm wondering IF it depends Where you Do those 2,500 pt Tier days?

Because my offers haven't changed at all. In fact, they appear about the same as hubby
who is Diam but has No tier at all for this year yet.

I called Dana Vacarro, who is supposedly my "Contact" for Vegas reservation (lol) and inquired
about Nascar weekend........as weve gotten offers past years.........she told me they go by
Play day, yada & Not tier.........so I said, "so my 2,500 tier day I just had doesn't mean squat?"
She said, well, not for that weekend.
Thanks for nothing. I won't bother calling again........

I continue to believe Vegas hosts are worthless, until proven otherwise.
What have they done for me lately? nada.

And I won't bust my hump for another 2,500 tier day, if offers don't seriously Improve!
CLV, regardless of what the hosts say, I bet you'll get offers.
We haven't done NASCAR in years, and not planning to this year, but somehow I end up getting offers in snail mail from just about everybody, even places I don't play. Go figure. Of course, the offers come about 2-3 weeks before the event, which makes them just about worthless even if we wanted to do it.

DH and I just emerged from two days in the bowels of the United States: Hammond, IN. Our reasons for this trip were two fold: 1) it's exactly a 2 hour drive from my driveway (suburban Milwaukee) to the Horseshoe parking garage. 2) they have good VP schedules at the $1 level. We played (on one card) 9/6 JOB and some 9/7 Double Bonus Poker. Put 1000 points on yesterday, and about 250 points today. When it was all said and done, we lost $600 chasing the tier bonus. Worth it? We'll see...we've always been gold and are really low rollers. I don't think diamond will be in our reach. According to my calculations, we'd have to do three more 1000 point days + a 500 pt day (and them some) to reach diamond...not sure if I can stomach $600 loss every time. We're planning on a trip to Tunica (late March) and then Vegas in June. May hit Platinum, but from what I can tell. you might as well be Gold for all the benefits Platinum provides. Sigh.
You have to go by average loss, over 10-20 times. Your average loss should be between 200-400 but you can lose big and you can win big, $4000.00.
I think it takes a bit for offers to catch up with one's play, and one big play day may not automatically change things.

Good news for people who like to play at more than one property on the same day. Two people at Rio told me they combine your tier points if you play at more than one property on the same gaming day (now called promotional day). It may take a couple days for the bonus tier to show on one's account.
Lisa, absolutely. During my Vegas trip last month they pointed this out and confirmed that 6 a.m. to 6 a.m. constitutes a gambling day at all Vegas casinos.
Took our first trip of the year a couple weeks ago. 4 nights at Paris. Managed to earn at least 2,500 pts. per day (more like 4,000 per day average) so I got the 5,000 bonus tier credits each day. ( The bonus credits take a little while to see in your account, like a day or 2). Ended up with 36,750 tier credits for the four days. Pretty easy making diamond I thought. Another hour or two of play, and I would have made level II diamond. I'll make it next time I go back.
Good for you! I hope you won some money too!
