$20 tip at check in.

Stay at the GN 6 times a year for a week at a time and the $20 tip worked for awhile but the last year it is Voodoo to even offer it. They will not accept it under any circumstances. In fact aobut 2 trips ago the girl remarked are to trying to sit me up to get fired. I think itis ashame but they really had a real bad deal there aobut 1 year ago. For a city that is built around tips makes no sense.
I got a nice upgrade at Bally's a couple of years ago. It was a nice room with a jacuzzi & you could actually use the balcony. $20 tip - I never thought of it as bribery, but when you think of it, I guess it kind of is.
I have two rooms booked at the Aria, November 11, 12 and 13, would it do any good to tip say $50.00 for an upgrade on both rooms ? Has anyone tried this at the Aria ? If you think this will be a waste of money, I won't do it ? I appreciate your comments
