7* signature event - has anyone gone?

I was thinking about attending the 7* event in Las Vegas and combining it with my 7 star trip to get free airfare and $500 folio credit.

Here's what's included in the trip:

• Seven Star registration
• Seven Star Gift
• Casino Play
• Welcome to the Linq Crawl
• Reception at Brooklyn Bowl
• Reception at the Wheel House at The High Roller
• Two tickets to ride the High Roller Observation Wheel
• Two tickets to show of choice (Veroníc or Jubilee)
• Seven Star Brunch at our new celebrity chef’s restaurant Giada’s at The Cromwell


I think everyone's casino play is different based on their 7* level. My host originally said $350, but I noticed on the 7* insider someone else was offered $800. I have a feeling mine will only be $350.

I'm wondering if the welcome gift and receptions are worth the trip? I really don't care about the ride in the High Roller, or show tickets, but would like to attend the brunch at Giada's.

I get offers all the time for $700+ in casino play and would rather use my 7* trip for one of those weekends instead.

I appreciate any info!

Although I've never been, I would try to use my trip where I get the most free play. Let us know what you decide.

Erin, do you know if Harrahs/Caesars has a similar promotion for Gold players?

I have attended a few in the past, all in Vegas. Nice brunch at the Flamingo. Nice event at the Caesar's pool complex. A gift here and there. They are ok events, but remember, a lot of 7*'s in town and one can be a small fish in a big school of fishes at these events. The gifts and food at the receptions are ok. I don't remember the gifts so they must not have been that special. ;-)

I'm pissed at CET right now. I wanted to attend the Tahoe Signature event, but received no airfare or freeplay. Screw that.

I think I'm going to skip it and hold out for a weekend with a better freeplay offer. If the gift is nothing exciting then there's really nothing else that I'd really want except for the brunch at Giada's. I doubt I'd make it to half of the reception events they have.

Yeah, the Tahoe one seems nice, but if you have to pay for the airfare from NOLA and get no free play it hardly seems worth it. Thanks for the info!

My invitation to the Lake Tahoe 7-Stars signature event includes 2 tickets to Rascal Flatts, $150.00 for airfare and choice of $125.00 free play, 2 tickets on the Dixie Experience OR 2 tickets Heavenly Gondola Ride. I thought as 7-Stars we got two tickets on the cruise on the
Dixie Experience once a year already. Does anyone know if that is correct?

@Ellen: I doubt that there are any offers like that for gold players. the exception would be if you are new to CET and have a good daily average.

I have been a platinum card horlder for the past fice years. The best offer I have ever gotton was for $50 casino play and free room for three nights. that being said, I can generally get some comped nights Sunday-Thurs in Vegas at Bally's or Flamingo (and rarely Paris) most any time.
