ADT Questions

I've been reading about how using your card/getting TR points on days you don't gamble kills your ADT. I think this happened to me on my last time Vegas trip. So I'd like to know the answers to the following:

If I stay at a CET property for Fri/Sat nights, what days are counted for the ADT calculation? I check in on Friday but do no gambling - is that a trigger day because they take card at check-in? If not, then I assume buying a meal/gift shop purchase will trigger it?

Then upon check out on Sunday morning, is Sunday counted for a day? Aren't any TR credits for room purchases going to hit your card that day when you pay?

I ask because if that is the case, then it seems the best course is to have to gamble for 3 days on a 2 night stay - get there early if that day counts upon check-in and then leave town late if check-out day is counted as well.

Thanks
I'm pretty sure the gambling day in Vegas is 6 am to 5:59 am. If you're concerned about your daily average or ADT, try to concentrate your play on one or two days. I've gotten to the point where my play is what it is and my offers will be what they will be and I don't worry about these things. Back when I cared and if I had room charges I'd settle my bill the night before checking out and not use my card or points on check out day.
I am a bit confused. Can someone explain what ADT does for you anyway?

ADT refers to your average play for the day (how much you put thru) which is important to the casinos. Since you want it to appear as high as possible, you should not play on days when you only plan to play for a short period of time...check in and check out days. You also show up in the system when you cash in points for meals, etc...so you don't want to do that on low play or non play days.

Thanks for the suggestion on settling the bill the night before check-out - great idea. The next couple of times I'm out in Vegas I'm not staying at CET, so it will be easier to get it back up.
It was also recently reported on vpfree that NOW
going to the Diamond Lounge "trips" ya. . . and if
you go to 2 different ones it "trips" ya twice!
I go to 3 Diamond lounges in one day, I use my card to pay the day I leave. I play at 3-4 casinos every trip(just to break it up). So my ADT should be horrible, but I just got offers in the mail for 300 casino cash for almost all of summer. I am a low Diamond and I have decided to stop thinking about it and just enjoy!!!!!
