Advice about the week of the Consumer Electronics Show.

So, Hubby is off to Florida on a golf trip, and I'm off to my fav city...Vegas. Seems I've decided to be there during the largest convention of the year. Anyone ever been there during this time? Are the casinos, sidewalks, restaurants, streets crowded? What should we do and not do? ANY advice would be helpful.
Thanks for your time.
Restaurants can be really crowded reservations may be needed for sure. Most conventioneers are on expense accounts so there will be
a big crowd in most strip places.
I always rent a car so can easily go off strip & get around.......getting away from the masses.
But I really don't think its that bad.
Theres really no bad time to go, IMO.
