i just booked for June 10,11,12,fly to PIA the 13th. does anyone have any experiences booking a package, air + hotel, with Bally & Allegiant or Allegiant and another property? my total cost was $551. tyia
We fly out of Bellingham (Washington state) on Allegiant all the time - probably have used Allegiant 10 + times. Have booked air only and the air and hotel packages and have never had a problem. Never stayed at Bally's but we have done the air and hotel packages for Fremont Street (Golden Nugget, Fitzgerald's), Imperial Palace. Each time when we have arrived at the hotel we have had no problem with our reservation. Allegiant is a no frills airline - no "freebies" at all on the flight. Allegiant just started something new in November - you can pick out the specific seat and row you want ( for a fee of course - can be approx $7 to $10. per seat) . Make sure you do this online before you fly as to pick a specific seat at check in at the airport is more expensive. For those who choose not to pick a seat you are the last to board the airplane and you take whatever is left so if you are travelling with a companion there is no guarantee you will get seats together.
Allegiant is our main airline that we use to fly to Las Vegas - never had any problems and would recommend . Hope this answers your question.
We went to Tunica in September using Allig & stayed at Harrahs. If you go to Tunica, get a rental car even tho' there are buses. There is much more and the wait is not so long. Try to stay at the casino, otherwise you will always ve at the mercy of the shuttles. Not bad, just like to have more control I guess.
Don't know about the Air and Hotel packages but don't ever, I mean ever, get a rental car through Allegiant.

I have taken four flights on Allegiant from Grand Rapids and each time the Alamo rates quoted on their website is at least 50% higher than the rate you can get by booking directly with Alamo.

For example, on my last trip to LAS 12/16-12/19, Allegiant website rate for an Alamo intermediate was $178.00. I booked the exact same car class on Alamo's website for $52 total including all taxes and fees. The $178.00 quoted on Allegiant's website didn't included taxes and fees.

If they jack you up this much on rental cars they are probably doing the same thing with the other add-ons like Hotels and Activities.
