Any last min Paris suggestions?

Checking in next Tues, 8/14, for a 5 day comped stay at Paris. Nights are becoming longer and days seem to drag on forever (I'm on LVA 16 hrs a day ).

Looking for suggestions for....

A- What rooms/floors to try a $20 trick (upgrade for)

B- What food stuffs/places in the P-HO/Paris/Ballys corrider should serve my appetite (i.e. Chicken Wings, Burgers, Pancakes, Chicken Ceasar salad, Odouls) all at a good price too.

C- Plan on working out at least 3 days while there so I'm debating on whether to pay to use either -(1) Paris spa (2) - Ballys Spa or (on at least 2 days) take my ACG coup to the (3) Flamingo and use their spa for free (but still pay $10.00 for the fitness center)?

D- What are the best times of day to find $10/$15 Paigow at either Paris? P-Ho?? Ballys???

and since I'll have a car.....

E - What time(s) of the day should I avoid driving to/from Paris??

T - 3 days 22 hours and 44 mins till I land in.............................VEGAS

"pray for me"
$20 trick for a red room, they are nicer, better TV's, higher floor, in room coffee pot, very comfy beds. If that doesn't work, ask for a P room, they're on the end, have 2 nice windows, larger room and in room coffee. We stayed in 497P last month for my b-day and it had a nice view of the Bellagio fountains.

The Caesar salad @ Cafe St. Louis @ Paris was great, a huge portion and it was nice that we could use our RC's for the meal. Le Burger Brasserie has great burgers and you get a discount if you show them your total rewards card. Also, there's a coupon in your MRB.

Lisa posted that the spa @ Ballys was comfy and the spa @ Paris was a little dated, but I recall her saying she enjoyed her treatments @ both. I think under hotels someone asked about spas, you might read through that thread.

Thats all I have, we'll be back@ Paris mid Sept, ready for college football betting!
Try the French toast at Mon Ami Gabi--it was awesome and priced on par with the Paris "coffee shop."

I second the burgers at Le Burger Brasserie. Adter 11 pm. the Tequila Bar at Bally's has a nice breakfast for 5 bucks. In the walkway, you can get two slices of pizza and a drink for $10.

For a reasonably priced sandwich, head over to PH and hit the Earl of Sandwich.

Bally's spa is less pricey than Paris.

Joy
As has been said, try for a Red Room, higher floor although the strip view rooms can have a problem with noise from the Chateau Club and you may have trouble sleeping.
PHo has lots of food choices in addition to what has been said already. The Miracle Mile Mall is chock full of restaurants in addition to the ones at the resort. We also really like Nosh at Bally's for a snack.
Can't help with the spas or driving cause we never drive once we park the car in Vegas.

Earl of sandwich tip, sign up at their website and get a free sandwich coupon emailed to you
for your birthday.
Ive noted....
Red room or P room...and keep high!!
Burger brasserie #1, Earl of sandwich #2 and Nosh and co. close behind!
Spa...Bally/Paris...tossup
Park it and enjoy!!!

Thanks folks........and keep em coming.

Chipolte is bassically fast food...taco salad, taco bowl...not that far to walk. Don't forget a screwdriver with breakfast. Mon Ami Gabi does a very good one.

Yep, I posted that. . .LOL

Regarding spa facilities, not work out room. . . steam, sauna, jacuzzi etc., if you ARE PAYING to use the facilities, I'd chose Bally's over Paris. Spa Mandara bills itself as premier and I felt the facilities were dated, very similar to Bally's, nothing close to Qua.

The main advantages of using the facilities of Spa Mandara at Paris while STAYING at Paris is location, location, & location and you can charge to your room. Spa Mandara is located on the 2nd floor and is a short elevator ride down from your room. Bally's Spa is located downstairs past the tournament room on the way to the monorail.

At one time, using the spa facilities at Bally's were complimentary for diamond members.

While checking in at Spa Mandara at Pais, a couple guys asked to see the workout facilities. The attendant let them look and said the cost was $25 pp. They looked then left. Having said that, a male friend who stayed at Paris said good things about the workout room. His wife's the player and they were staying at Paris. I didn't ask about fees.

In the name of informed consent and for the record, I do spa while in Vegas. However, I don't formally work out. My exercise comes from walking and building arm muscles while playing machines

Champ, I look forward to hearing about your stay at Paris and trip
