Any truth to the rumor Ak Chin no longer Harrahs

Heard from someone in Laughlin that Ak-Chin in Maricopa AZ will no longer be affiliated with Harrah's properties -- can anyone confirm or deny this ??

A worker at Harrahs laughlin mentioned it, he heard from guests that had seen a sign that after jan 16th they were not going to be affiliated with Harrahs, I'll be there tonight and see if I can get some info

There's nothing in the January mailer that indicates any changes.

That's what I thought.

With the new hotel tower and remodel, I don't see CET dumping the property. They've done a lot of upgrading to be competitive with Gila River Casinos and Talking Stick. I don't see an independent casino or one with limited national benefits being successful in Maricopa. If it weren't for total rewards, people wouldn't drive the extra 20-30 minutes to go gamble.

I agree with that statement one million percent...def the only reason that i go there now that i live in phx
